BASIC THAI MASSAGE TRAINING
10
days / 60 hours is divided into two parts (Basic Thai: Part One and Part Two).
BASIC THAI: PART ONE
The
first half of the training (the first week) will cover the front position only
(an introduction to the longest and most comprehensive position and form of
Thai massage), the first step towards learning the full routine. The other half
of the training (the second week) will cover the remaining side, back and
sitting positions and the front position is reviewed in greater depth. In the
last two days of training, students can give a comprehensive full-body 1 1/2 -
2 hour treatment.
BASIC THAI: PART TWO
Basic
Thai Massage Part Two (Level Two) consists of 5 days of training, 30 hours
total including 6 hours of In-Clinic practice. Part Two will cover
the remaining side, back, and sitting positions, and the front position is
reviewed in greater depth. After completing Part 1 & Part 2,
therapists can give a comprehensive full-body 1 ½ to 3 hour treatment. (Please
note: Part 1 is a prerequisite).

THAI REFLEXTHERAPY FOOT MASSAGE
Thai
tradition has a long history that stresses the vital importance of foot points
in treatments for nearly every physical disorder. The General reflexology foot
routine constitutes a whole body treatment. The reclining Buddha at Wat
Pho, Bangkok is an excellent example; ‘the soles are like the mirror of health’. 51
techniques are taught in this 1 hour session (30 minutes for each foot) covered
on both days.
12 hours CE
THAI ON TABLE
This
one-weekend workshop will provide students with techniques modified for use on
a massage table. These techniques will form a solid foundation for practicing a
one hour session. Thai Massage on table is a perfect combination of Swedish and
Thai Massage.
